If you are receiving this letter of recommendation, you are considering Joe Novak and Empire Builders as consultants for internet advertising. If it was anything like our situation, Joe has been contacting you and telling you how he can help you with Google Adwords and Costs per Clicks and all kinds of other mumbo jumbo that you’ve spent years and dollars chasing. And of course, just when you’re seeing some bit of success, they change the rules again and you’re left scrambling without ads or worse, over budget and no real clue if it’s working.

Over the last three years, I did everything I could to learn about Google Adwords and Analytics. I read every piece of information I could find and I watched every Youtube video I could. I had been to conferences put on by Google. I had hired other consultants. After those three years, our budget for Adwords had grown to 100,000 plus per year. I was seeing results slightly above average for the nation in CPC and the bosses were happy with the traffic. But it always felt like too much money and Google was always telling me how I wasn’t spending enough.
